A/N : Kwentong Ricky and Maya are random short bcwmh-like scenarios lang because I really miss the show.😌

On their way to Emman’s condo…

“So what do you think? Okay naman siya di ba?” Ricky was asking Maya’s opinion on Abby’s new nanny, Gemma.

“Okay lang.” Her bland reply.

“She’s talkative and animated, just like you. I’m sure Abby will love her too.”

“Mabuti naman.” Another bland reply.

“Abby told her that about the story of the Mahal na Hari at Prinsesa. Gemma said itutuloy na lang nya yun kwento at baka dagdagan nya ng characters kasi boring naman daw.”

“Okay.”

“Sabel also taught her to make Abby’s favorite sandwich, yun ham and cheese which you usually make. Baka next time you should taste it para sure na it’s the same as the one you’re making.”

“Sige.”

“Nikki and Luke thinks she’s okay. Masayahin din daw at makwento. At least makakasundo rin nila si Gemma.”

“Okay.”

He already noticed Maya’s one-liners. She seemed upset over something. He didn’t want to ask her coz she probably won’t tell him anyway, so hinayaan lang nya.

“Si Manang Fe naman she’s beginning to like Gemma too. Naikwento na rin ata ni Manang si Mang Anastacio sa kanya.”

“Mabuti naman.”

“Sina Doris at Sabel naman are happy too because kasing ingay rin nila si Gemma. Even Joma is fond of her.”

“Okay yun.”

“I also think she’s okay. Masipag naman siya. She’s funny. Maasikaso siya kay Abby. Magaling rin siyang makisama kina Manang, Doris, Sabel at Leah. I think she’s a good addition to the household.”

No reaction si Maya.

Upset nga siya especially with her Ser Chief.

Richard continued…

“I guess we have found a good yaya for Abby.”

Still no reaction si Maya. She’s just blankly staring outside the car window.

Richard further continued…

“I have no choice but to try to like her kasi ayaw mo naman yun offer ko to stay. She seems okay naman. But of course she’s not you. No one could ever be like you Maya.”

She now glanced at him.

He added… “No one will ever be like you. You’re one of a kind. You’re very special… to the kids… to Manang, Sabel, Doris and Joma… and of course you’re very special to me Maya.”

Haynaku lagot na. Kinilig na naman siya kaya nakalimutan na yun tampo and of course napa smile kay SerChief nya.

He parked his car at the side of the road.

He faced her then he flashed his boyish smile at her, showing his dimple which never fails to make Maya admire his looks more.

Nagblush ang Maya with the stare her SerChief is giving her.

“Okay ka na? Hindi ka na galit?” He asked her.

“Ha?! Hindi naman ako galit ah!”

“Okay. If you’re not angry, then why were you ignoring me. I mean why ang tipid mong magsalita? Bakit masungit ka? Hindi ko tuloy naenjoy yun car ride natin. I’m looking forward to enjoying even just a few minutes with you pa naman. Ang sungit mo. Galit ka pa.”

“Hindi nga ako galit SerChief. Ang kulit mo naman.”

“Hindi galit? Tampo?”

Then she couldn’t help but glance at him with her slight masungit eyes.”Tampo pero konti lang. Kayo kasi.” Then she again avoided his stare.

“O bakit? What did I do ba? Huy tumingin ka nga.”

Then she stared at him pero her eyes are turning misty pero galit na misty.

“Sino bang hindi magtatampo eh tinatawag ka rin ni Gemma ng Ser Chief. Ako lang tumatawag sa’yo ng ganun di ba? Kahit nga sina Sabel hindi ka tinatawag ng ganun. Tapos siya kaswal na kaswal kang tawaging SerChief tapos mukhang okay na okay lang sa’yo.”

“Ah kaya ka pala galit. You’re jealous that someone is calling me that.”

“Hindi nga ako galit SerChief. At di ako nagseselos no! Nagtatampo lang.” Then she sulked again.

“O sige na. Hindi ka nga nagseselos. Wag ka na ring magtampo. I won’t allow Gemma to call me SerChief anymore.”

They’re facing each other now. Richard is happy that Maya is jealous. It meant that she’s possessive of him. He loved that.

Now in his very soft voice that never fails to make her giddy… “Promise ikaw lang ang papayagan kong tumawag ng SerChief sa akin. Exclusively yours ang pagtawag ng ganun…”

Maya’s eyes lit up. She now smiled.

Richard added… “yours lang yung SerChief. Just like me, yours din lang ako.” Then he winked at her, then faced the road and continued to drive to Emman’s condo.

Si Maya?

Ano pa nga bang effect ni SerChief sa kanya? She’s blushing, aligaga, kilig na kilig, at napakahaba ng hair.

Si crushmate naman kasi. 😍
