Comfort : A Carlo-Amor Crossover with Richard and Maya (Part 4)

The moment he realized who was seated beside him, Carlo hurriedly wiped his eyes and tried to compose himself.

He didn’t want to look so miserable and so broken in front of this powerful woman.

“I’m sorry Miss Powers. You shouldn’t have seen me in this state.”

“Oh I don’t mind Mr. Asuncion. I don’t mind at all.”

She gave his hand a gentle squeeze.

“Whatever it is you’re going through, you could share it with me, to at least lessen the burden. It really helps to unload. I will just listen.”

Amor who had her share of a very bitter past knows that having someone to talk to, or even just someone who would listen, is a great help.

But more than that, she was actually hell bent on getting any bit of information from this man who looks exactly the same as the ‘Richard Lim’ in their old family pictures.

The mystery of her past which kept haunting her might eventually be discovered once she gets to know this man beside her.

And now is an opportunity to do so.

But also seeing the anguish of this man, she knows that he really needs an outlet for his pain.

“I’m serious Mr. Asuncion. I’ll just listen. We don’t know each other so I guess there’s no harm in talking to a stranger. It will make you feel better.”

“My father died.” He just blurted it without any preamble

Amor Powers wasn’t prepared at all. She knows the pain of losing a loved one for she herself lost everyone in her family during the tragedy in Punta Verde years ago .

The loss compelled her to go back and seek justice for all the members of her family.

Regaining her composure she now placed her hand over Carlo’s arm in soothing comfort.

“I’m sorry Mr. Asuncion. I must have been impertinent to intrude. I’m really sorry.”

“It’s okay Ms.Powers. I really appreciate your concern. Thank you so much. I really needed that right now.”

Despite his pain, he managed to give her a sincere smile.

She smiled in return.

The moment the plane arrived, Amor was privately escorted by some airport personnel so she wouldnt go through the hassles in the airport.

Time is of utmost importance to her.

Then she realized that it is very important for Carlo too so she asked the airport personnel to accord him the same treatment they are giving her.

“Mr. Asuncion join me. You don’t have to fall in line.”

Wanting to reach his mother the soonest time possible, he readily accepted her offer and joined her as she was escorted outside the airport and to the parking area where her driver is waiting for her.

“Thank you very much Ms. Powers. I would never forget this.”

“Don’t mention it. It’s just a small gesture for someone who needs it.”

“It’s not small for me.”

He was about to leave when Amor called him.

“Mr. Asuncion, wait!”

He turned and raised his brows in silent query.

“Where is your father? I want to pay him a visit.”

Carlo was surprised.

“He’s at Benguet actually. We live there.”

“Oh that far? I thought you live in Manila. Well how will you get there?”

“The company chopper will bring me there. I need to get there as soon as possible and I can’t spend several hours on the road.”

“Oh I see. Hmmm… will I sound pushy if I ask to go with you?”

His chinky eyes grew big.

Ms. Powers is really full or surprises.

She herself couldn’t understand what made her so aggressive to force herself into his private life.

They hardly know each other yet her she is, expressing her intention of joining him in going home to grieve his father’s demise.

There’s some invisible force making her do so, she is sure of that.

Maybe it would lead her to her mysterious dream.

Maybe she’ll finally discover the connection she has with this man.

“I wouldn’t mind Ms. Powers but are you serious?”

“I’m always serious Mr. Asuncion.”

Then cancelling all her appointments and asking that she won’t be disturbed, she willingly joined Mr. Carlo Asuncion as he goes home to his parents.

A/N Again this is a splitserye of our two favorite leads who is having their own separate teleseryes.

This is for fans who can’t stand seeing them paired with others.

Evidently, they still look magically very good together even by just putting their separate pictures beside each other.

Please follow @CarMorOfficial in twitter to see what I mean.

This is also a way of supporting them.

To each his own. Goodvibes!

Here are the videos of the talented adiks who made it possible for them to be together again.

For the teaser:

Now here’s the Pilot Episode of our very first split serye in social media, Nasaan Ka? Pangako Sa’Yo Kailangan Kita, featuring our most-loved couple, Richard and Maya, in other roles as Amor and Carlo.

Credit goes to the owners and makers of the video. We commend their effort and skills in taking time to do it for fellow ricky-maya fans.
